About

Robin and Patricia Dewitt are identical twins who work together in an illustration team. They graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1980 with a bachelors degree in Illustration. The Dewitt sisters collaborated with each other for five years, and opted to combine portfolios before publishing their first book, "The Peach Tree" with Stemmer House Publishers Incorporated. They have illustrated many books for Stemmer House including "Under the Greenwood Tree; Shakespeare for Young People", "The Pied Piper of Hamelin " and " The Marvelous Maze". In 1986, they acquired representation with Craven Design and have since worked for many publishers in text, trade and mass market in the children's book field. Robin continued her education with her former college and earned a masters degree in Digital Design in 1998. Robin and Patricia are knowledgeable in a variety of art forms, from watercolor to digital design. Both have demonstrated a proficiency to go above and beyond whatever is asked of them, and are driven by an intense passion to create. Their love for art is what separates them from others, and their willingness to learn and grow will help them adapt to any situation that they may encounter.
